Musanada Delivers AED11B Development Projects In Abu Dhabi In 2015

Throughout last year, Abu Dhabi General Services Company 'Musanada' managed to deliver 23 development projects with a total cost of approximately AED11,2 billion throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi across various sectors including housing, education, buildings, infrastructure, roads, healthcare, etc.

Aimed to serve and achieve the best for the Abu Dhabi community, these projects would keep pace with the comprehensive development witnessed by the emirate, thanks to the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Musanada is currently managing and executing 242 projects across all sectors, including 190 projects in the design phase and 52 in the construction phase. On top of these projects comes the Al Ain New Hospital, Sheikh Shakhbout Hospital, Sila Hospital in the western region, Jabal Hafeet 3,000-Unit Housing, Ain Al Fayda 2,000-Unit Housing, South Shamkha Infrastructure Development, Al Manayef City Infrastructure Development at Al Ruwais â western region, Abu Dhabi – Dubai Road, Al Mafraq –  Al Ghuwaifat Road interconnecting the western region cities and facilitating commercial land traffic in the UAE, the Airport Interchange and Airport Regional Road Network, as well as various other vital projects and services, including the provision of facility management services to approximately 4,000 buildings and facilities within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Al Marar, "guided by the insightful vision of our prudent leadership, we in Musanada work relentlessly hand in hand with the various government entities in the emirate to achieve high efficiency levels in performance, transparency and service development, enabling government entities to primarily focus on improving their core services, relying on accurate and complete studies that allow us to develop effective and adaptable solutions and ensure delivery of comprehensive services in line with the best international standards, as part of our efforts to achieve sustainable excellence and focus on innovation and creativity."

AED1.7 Billion Housing Projects Delivered Musanada is currently handling a set of housing projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, translating and implementing the Leadership's visions aspiring to secure welfare and ensure family stability for UAE nationals, as our prudent Leadership believes that a house is the basis for psychological, social and economic stability for UAE national families.

In 2015, Musanada successfully delivered three Major housing projects for a total cost of AED1.7 billion, including the Emirati Housing Project Phase I and II in Abu Dhabi city and Bida Al Mutawa Housing project in the western region.

Coordinating with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Musanada delivered Emirati Housing Phase I and II project on an area of 72 acres. The project included 703 residential units, the size of each house varying between 338 to 405 square meters. The project is a vital, strategically-located residential complex located at Khalifa City next to Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Al Forsan International Sports Resort. The residential units of the project consisted of a ground floor plus first floor, comprising four or five bedrooms with attached utilities as well as a driver’s room.

The Company completed the infrastructure works of the project, including a 15km internal road network, besides lighting, water, electricity and drainage networks, in addition to pedestrian paths, landscaping and parks.

"The area of Phase I of the Emirati Housing project was 43 acres including 303 villas, with an estimated total cost of the project along with the associated infrastructure of approximately AED761 million. Each villa consisted of 2 floors, comprising four and five bedrooms in addition to the majlis, car garages and maid’s rooms, as well as the other basic requirements of the UAE national family," said Eng. Ali Al Haj Al Mehairbi, Musanada’s Acting Executive Director – Building Construction Management Division.

";The area of Phase II of the "watani" Housing project was 28 acres, including 400 villas, with an estimated total cost of the project along with the associated infrastructure of approximately AED780 million. The traditional-style residential units were built following the townhouse pattern on a gross built up area of 388 square meters, Each villa consisted of 2 floors, comprising four bedrooms and a majlis, in addition to basic utilities such as kitchens, bathrooms, maid’s rooms, etc.," added Eng. Al Mehairbi. "Being located in Khalifa City A, Phase I and II of the project will enable the residents from using the basic facilities and utilities available in the area, such as schools, clinics, retail outlets, mosques, etc. required by the residents."

Musanada has also delivered Bida Al Mutawa Housing project in the western region in accordance with highest architectural design standards and in line with the standard of living of the UAE national family. The houses would be adequate to the various strata of society and number of family members, as these houses would meet the requirements of privacy of the UAE national family and social and cultural aspects of the UAE community.
