The new Redwood Montessori Nursery, which boasts a prestigious address in the Al Bateen district of the UAE capital, is a state-of-the-art educational facility open for registration now for the remainder of the 2016 academic year.
This latest opening by Kids First Group marks the third Montessori facility in the company’s growing portfolio, which currently encompasses nine nurseries in the UAE and Qatar including the Ladybird and Odyssey Nurseries, Abu Dhabi; Odyssey, Kids Cottage and Willow Children’s Nurseries in Dubai; and Tots Corner Nursery in Doha.
Redwood Montessori Nursery is open to children aged from four months to four years. It has a total of just seven class groups. The educational model follows a trilingual curriculum (English, French and Arabic) and is led by qualified Montessorian practitioners and guarantees a low adult to child ration of 4:1.
“The Montessori method is highly regarded in international circles for its unique individual needs-based approach to learning, especially at a young age. Indeed, Prince George, the son of Kate Middleton and Prince William, has just been enrolled at a Montessori school in the UK,” said Kamil Najjar, Co-Founder & CEO, Kids First Group.
“Our Ladybird Nursery in Abu Dhabi was our first facility and has been a popular choice with parents looking for a more interactive and tailored approach to early stage learning. Our new location offers a trilingual programme alongside a fully-equipped outdoor playground, varied afternoon enrichment programme and Feng Shui-designed classrooms staffed by trained Montessori practitioners,” he added.
The Kids First Group educational philosophy is based on treating each child as unique, with a three-phase model of nurture, encouragement and support the foundation for development, and which can help children to excel at an early age.
“As one of the largest nursery group in the GCC in terms of coverage and capacity, our aim is to become the leading group in early childhood development by being innovative and progressive, and supported by state-of-the-art resources and staff, in order to build a solid foundation for the next generation of young minds,” said Najjar.
Kids First Group was established in 2011 by co-founders Kamil Najjar and CedarBridge. Najjar’s quarter century of senior management and leadership experience in the corporate world provided a solid basis on which to build the First Kids Group brand, combined with his personal passion for early childhood education.
