Abu Dhabi Quality & Conformity Council (QCC), the entity responsible for developing quality infrastructure and raising awareness on quality standards in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, is participating in the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival currently underway in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi under the patronage of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

As part of its participation in the agricultural oasis organized by Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA), QCC is highlighting its Manaa product recall and incident reporting system that allows consumers to report products that pose a risk to consumer safety and health as well as injuries resulting from the use of such products. The system also allows people to view and identify products that have been withdrawn from the market for non-compliance to the UAE’s safety standards.

The festival includes a series of interactive sessions and competitions offering valuable prizes to both visitors and participants.

We also seek to invite more people to use 'Manaa' system by highlighting its various features and important role in safeguarding consumer and product safety in Abu Dhabi.”

QCC was established in 2009 to support organizations in Abu Dhabi, and to raise the quality of Abu Dhabi’s exports and products traded locally, promote quality culture, industrial development, competitiveness, and consumer safety; by enabling organizations to design and implement legal standards and conformity programs for product safety. QCC also determines guiding principles and standards to guarantee that products manufactured and traded within the emirate are in compliance with highest standards of safety, quality and conformity.
