Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) and WOMAD (World Of Music Arts ’&’ Dance) announced that another five internationally renowned artists are now confirmed for the three-day WOMAD Abu Dhabi festival, including Mohammed Mounir from Egypt, as well as homegrown Emirati band Kamal Mussallam Group with Sokoor Al Magabeel, which will open the three-day musical and dancing event.

The latest artists to be confirmed for the festival on 23rd, 24th and 25th April are: Kamal Musallam Group with Sohoor Al Mayabeel (Kuwait/UAE), Los De Abajo (Mexico), M?rcio Local (Brazil), Mariem Hassan (West Sahara), Mohammed Mounir (Egypt).

This brings the total number of artists to an incredible 23, performing across the two venues; at the Abu Dhabi Corniche and Al Jahili Fort, Al Ain.
