Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, TCA Abu Dhabi, has unveiled two large-scale installations ahead of Abu Dhabi Art's public opening on the 18th November 2015. Helping bring the Abu Dhabi Art experience to life, Hassan Sharif's 'Copper' and Farhad Moshiri's 'Shukran' form part of Abu Dhabi Art's 'Beyond' programme.
Beyond presents large-scale installations which engage with public spaces. Selected art works are exhibited throughout the city for a period of 6 months, creating a contemporary canvas of artwork within the urban landscape. This year's installations theme is 'Bliss', and is curated by Fabrice Bousteau.
Beyond includes a further 20 artworks that will be unveiled within Manarat Al Saadiyat, Warehouse 421, and Nation Towers, showcasing the works of artists like Martin Creed, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Shaikha Al Mazrou, Jack Pierson and Pipilotti Rist.
