UK grime artist Tinie Tempah and Dutch trance duo W&W will entertain crowds in Abu Dhabi during the Grand Prix weekend, organisers announced on Wednesday. The two acts will perform at the latest club to land on Yas Island, called MAD.
Tempah, who previously performed at RedFestDXB at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, will take to the stage on November 28, while W&W take over on November 29.
MAD will officially open its doors to the public at 11pm this Thursday. It will debut its themed nights, including MAD Thursday, URBN Fridays and Singles Traffic Jam Sundays. Its resident DJs will be Anthony Bassolou, DJAD, DVN, Dany Neville and Neil T.
Tony Habre, CEO of Add-Mind Group, said in a statement that they pride themselves on “consistently setting new standards for excellence within the hospitality industry and creating exceptional experiences for our guests.”
“With MAD, we look forward to introducing a new nightlife environment for the Abu Dhabi market by providing bespoke elements of intrigue that have yet to be seen in this nightclub setting,” he added.
The 1565 square metre venue will become the biggest indoor venue of its kind in the UAE. It will include a large DJ booth as a focal point of the club, video displays, and 360 degree projection mapping.
