Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi celebrates the festive season with Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas Village, Gingerbread Cooking Classes and delicous festive delicacies.  All restaurants across the hotel will offer special festive cuisines and take-away Turkey with all the trimmings.

On 10 December 2015, guests can join Santa Claus at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to be held on the hotel’s North Plaza Beach.  The Christmas Village will open on 20 December 2015 in the same location, with kids’ activities and a Christmas market available daily from 3 to 6 p.m.

They can complete the Christmas tradition by creating their own classic, yet inventive Gingerbread House for an impressive dining centrepiece.  In the hotel’s Al Nojoom Ballroom, they can learn the basics and secrets of creating an remarkable Gingerbread House from Pastry Chef Muhamed Jejen while having fun discovering the culinary artist in them.  The class is available on 19 December 2015, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m for Dh159++ per child and one adult.

Across the hotel, guests can choose their favourite dining destination at any of the seven locations.
