Celebrity Chefs Get A Taste Of Yas
(5 November 2015)

Celebrity chefs from around the world were treated to an appetizer of Yas as they climbed aboard the world's fastest roller coaster. Joined by a number of in-resident chefs, the men in white admired the craftsmanship of the world's largest Yas cake crafted by the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's resident pastry chefs.

Taste of Abu Dhabi's star-studded line-up, including "˜Master Patissier" Eric Lanlard and Food Network's Reza Mahammad, Jenny Morris and Siba Mtongana admired the cake, alongside Nikita Gandhi, Suzanne Husseini, Valentine Warner, Jose Pizarro, Steven Edwards and Joshua Stanzl.

Yas Island is well regarded for its leisure & entertainment. A lot of people don't know that Yas is also a dream destination for foodies. We have more than 100 cafes and restaurants offering cuisines from around the world, all within 5-minutes reach of each other. The perfect solution for our time-poor lives.” said Clive Dwyer, Executive Director Destination Management for Yas Island.

Alongside international celebrity chefs, Taste of Abu Dhabi boasts a mouth-watering line-up of 25 restaurants, the popular Quooker and Lurpak Cookery School and OSN-Food Network Chefs Theatre, as well as an unmissable performance from legendary reggae band The Wailers. The Landrover and ADCB stage will be filled with live music throughout the three-day festival, starring The Maple Jacks, UK based leading lights productions and 4The Music.

The Yas cake will be served by the celeb chefs on the Yas Island stand on: Friday 6 November from 4:30 to 4:45 with Eric Lanlard and Valentine Warner; Saturday 7 November from 3:30 to 3:45 with OSN chefs Siba Mtongana, Jenny Morris and Reza Mahammad; and Saturday 7 November from 4:30 to 4:45 with Suzanne Husseini, Jose Pizarro and Steven Edwards & Josh Stanzl.

Taste of Abu Dhabi takes place at du Arena from Thursday 5 November to Saturday 7 November 2015. The festival will run from 4 – 11pm on Thursday, 12 – 11pm on Fridayday and 12 – 10pm on Saturday.

With tickets still available in advance from just 65AED and on the door from 80AED, Taste of Abu Dhabi promises visitors a weekend to remember. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.tasteabudhabi.com. For more information on Yas Island, visit: www.yasisland.ae.
