The ADIB’s Board members donated a sum of Dh1 million to the Marriage Fund. This step is considered the first of its kind at the banking sector while it comes in the yak of the contribution campaign to support the resources of the marriage fund. Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister for Presidential Affairs, sponsored this campaign on calling upon private & public institutions, corporations to support the social and humanitarian role of marriage fund.

H.E. Ahmed Darwish Bin Dagher Al Marar, Managing Director of ADIB, has stated:" I’m proud that we are the first Board members to make such a donation in the financial institution in UAE". "This donation came in response to Shaikh Mansour’s recent donation and the noble call on national organizations to contribute in supporting Marriage Fund.

"This initiative forms a core of the future cooperation with the Marriage Fund; furthermore, it reflects the real role of the bank in the social field through the constant supporting for marriage fund and its family activities, programs and goals". H.E added during the ceremony held at ADIB yesterday.

For his part, Marriage Fund has considered this step as a hope to give a chance for other financial institutions all over the country in following the steps of ADIB’s board members and to take positive steps towards supporting mass wedding programme in the country.
