Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has announced the winners of its ‘Visa Covered Card’ campaign during a dinner held yesterday at the Emirates Palace. The year long campaign, which started in January 2006, rewards users of the bank’s covered card with valuable prizes. Eleven lucky winners were rewarded prizes ranging from AED 250,000 to AED 10,000 cash credited to their Visa card accounts plus vouchers for weekends at Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi or Fairmont Hotel in Dubai.
The Covered Card promotion will entitle cardholders using their cards over the minimum purchase spending criteria to enter the draw that will be held every 3 months. Classic Cardholders will need to spend a minimum of AED 2,600 per quarter to be eligible for the draw, Gold Cardholders will need to spend a minimum of AED 6,500 and Platinum Cardholders will need to spend a minimum of AED 13,000.

Ahmed Darwish Bin Dagher Al Marar, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, congratulated all winners during the ceremony, and confirmed ADIB’s commitment to develop better service and build long lasting relationships with all its customers. He also encouraged them to benefit from the wide range of Islamic banking solutions which ADIB offers.
The first batch winners of the Covered Card campaign are: Manea Saif Al Shamisi, winner of the grand prize – AED 250,000; Rashid Khalfan Darwish, Hessa Hassan Al Baloushi, Khaled Mohamed Al Zarouni, Ali Saeed Al Shehhi, and Abdalla Ahmed BIN GHANNAM--each won vouchers valued at AED 10,000 for weekend stays at one of the above mentioned hotels, while Mohammed Al Shamisi, Bassam Yasin Awad, Hessa Rashid Alshamsi, Mubarak Al Sghayer Al Ameri, and Fawzi Younis Al-Saidi–-winners of AED 10,000 cash credited to their card accounts.
