Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank has announced the launch of its new campaign that provides an opportunity for customers to perform Umrah with all expenses covered by ADIB. The campaign will be held in partnership with Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society, Al Ittihad Newspaper, and Lubaik for Hajj and Umrah Services. The launch of the campaign is a collaborated effort between several governmental institutions in the capital that aim to serve and develop the community.
This campaign starts on Wednesday the 12th of December 2006 and goes through till the 31st of July 2007. A draw will be held consecutively between the 20th and the 25th of January, March, May and July 2007.
The campaign enables all Muslim applicants to travel to Mekkah on an Umrah pilgrimage trip free of cost sponsored by Abu Dhabi Islamic bank. Applications can apply and will be accepted through the ADIB website. Winners will be chosen through an electronic selection process conducted quarterly. A total of 120 winners, 30 winner per draw, will be able to avail the opportunity annually with the cost of AED 2750 per winner paid by the sponsors of the campaign. The draw will take place at Cooperative in Mina.
The package includes an 2-way Etihad Airways ticket to Jeddah on Coral Class, a 3-nights and 4-day stay at a four star hotel in Mekkah, free transportation service to and from Jeddah Airport, a copy of the Holy Quran, a booklet of Umrah guidelines, in addition to Ihram clothing.

We also want to encourage all our customers to make full use of our diversified range of products and financial solutions that strictly adhere to the authentic Islamic teachings,” said H.E Ahmed Darwich Bin Dagher Al Marar, ADIB Managing Director.
Eligible applications will be from customers who have not performed Umrah before, are UAE nationals or residents, are over 18 years of age, are holders of valid passports with the validity period in excess of 6 months, and residency visas with a validity of over 3 months.
ADIB has launched this campaign aiming to encourage clients to use their electronic banking website that enables them to access their account from any location around the world and additionally perform their regular banking transactions such as accessing and monitoring their bank accounts, review detailed account statements, transfer funds between accounts, and request new cheque books.
