Here’s Where To Live Studio Style In Abu Dhabi
(7 September 2015)

Bayut.com reveals the top five popular localities

Abu Dhabi has always been known as the industrial and cultural hub of UAE. Once dependent on oil for growth, the national capital no more relies on petro dollars and boasts of an economy as diverse as any other in the world. The country’s manufacturing and production industries are concentrated in Abu Dhabi, attracting thousands of top professionals from around the world each year.

With a rising population, there naturally arises a great demand for accommodations in this fast-developing city. Just like any other developing city, studio apartments generate substantial interest from buyers in Abu Dhabi. This why Bayut.com has done the hard bit to bring you the popular localities for buying studio apartments. Dig in, our input will surely help you find your dream abode.

Buy, buy

While most residential localities in Abu Dhabi have remarkable infrastructure comparable with neighboring Dubai in all respects, there remain standout areas that make buyers return to them over and over again.

In our analysis of the first eight (January to August) months of 2015, we found Al Reem Island the most popular area for buying apartments of all categories in Abu Dhabi. Practically sitting in the heart of the national capital, the locality generated more search queries than any other in the said period, making it the most sought-after area for apartments in the capital. According to Bayut’s database, the average price of studio apartments in Al Reem Island was around AED 776,609. Not that costly, then.

The second spot went to apartments in Al Raha Beach, where average price of a studio apartment was AED 1,202,583. Al Raha Beach was followed by Al Reef community. Sitting right across the Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Reef is fast-gaining popularity with buyers. The average studio apartment in the area sold for AED 655,903 in the first eight months of the year.

Next on the list of top five localities was Al Ghadeer area. At few minutes’ drive from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi town centers, studio apartments in Al Ghadeer were cheapest among the top five popular localities with average price of AED 498,931. The area holds immense potential for growth in the future.

The last place on Bayut’s popular apartment localities’ list was taken up by Saadiyat Island. Though last on the list, the area certainly does not have the least amount of money involved, with average studio apartment prices hovering around the AED 1.7 million mark. The area is sought most by luxury seekers who want an unblemished view of the Persian Gulf and its pristine waters. Its proximity to the old Abu Dhabi, top end hotels and leisure facilities make it an ideal locality for those who compromise on nothing.

Let’s hope you have made up your mind by now where to buy that studio apartment you were on the lookout for. We hope we have helped.
