The Police Sports Association discussed with the Emirates Equestrian Federation (EEF) ways to strengthen and develop partnership, as a part of the strategy to promote relations between national institutions and to serve national sport and athletes.
Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Head of the Police Sports Association Department, met with the EEF delegation, led by Faisal Al Ali, Board Member, and Assistant Secretary-General of the Federation.
Both parties emphasized the importance of activating partnership between them, to provide an integrated joint action plan, and achieve the mission of sports in the UAE. They also discussed ways to form a ‘Tent Pegging’ sports team at the Ministry of Interior; due to the importance of this sport in international forums, and the possibility of achieving high ranks.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Aref Ali Al Rayess, Chief of the Sports Activities section; Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Mohammed Al Hamidi; and Major Dr. Saud Salem Al Junaibi; as well as Amer Munawer Sadiq from the Emirates Equestrian Federation, Coordinator of the ‘Tent Pegging’ section.
Towards the end of the meeting, both parties exchanged commemorative shields.
