Abu Dhabi state fund, Aabar Investments, a unit of International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC),  said on Wednesday it has appointed Mohamed Hamad Al Mehairi as Chief Executive Officer effective from August 24.

After a seven-year career in ADNOC, Mohamed joined IPIC in 2006 and is currently director of investments. Al Mehairi is a graduate of Suffolk University, Boston, USA.
