As part of Abu Dhabi Summer Seasonâ's raffle promotions, Abdul Hai Dur Muhammad from Pakistan has become the latest winner of a Mercedes-Benz car to be given away during the weekly Abu Dhabi Summer Season raffle draw presented by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), the organisers of the three-month long season which runs across the emirate until September 5.
Muhammad is the tenth winner of the star prize, with his name being drawn out at a raffle draw at City Mall, in the Western Region on Saturday by the GM of City Mall, Mohammed Khartabil. The raffle draw followed a wonderful performance of the Very Sleeping Beauty – a musical extravaganza starring a very lazy princess – that entertained the crowds with magical music, dance and songs.
At the same time as Muhammad's name was announced, last week's winner Suhair Abdullah from Lebanon, was presented with the keys to her brand new vehicle.
In total 12 Mercedes-Benz cars will be given away to shoppers during the Summer Season at participating malls, with the next raffle draw taking place after the family show Life in RIO – a colourful adventure of Amazonian Birds set to Samba and Latin rhythms, on Saturday August 22 at Deerfields Mall.
Abu Dhabi Summer Season, which stretches across Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and the Western Region, offers fun for all the family with international theatre shows, comedy acts, singers and leading children's theatre combined with fantastic promotions and packages at the emirate's hotels and attractions.
The next shows due to entertain stay-at-home residents and visitors will be the fire and light spectacular of The Illuminaire, an incredible, dynamic show that takes the audience on a mythical journey through timeless space, which will be appearing at Al Ain Municipality Theatre on August 21-22 and at Emirates Palace from August 28-29, and Hans Klok, the world's fastest illusionist, who will be spellbinding audiences at du Forum from August 21- 22.
