The Zakat Fund has announced total revenues of AED18,747,592 during the first five months of this year, achieving an increase of 18.15 percent over the same period last year.
Abdullah bin Aqeeda Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the Zakat Fund, attributed the revenue increase to the trust and confidence of customers in the 24 traditional, electronic and smart collection channels, which in turn, contributed significantly to bringing more revenue to the Zakat Fund.
Al Muhairi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Zakat Fund's customers, stressing the continuous work of the fund to raise awareness of the public about Zakat duty through various means available, both in terms of cutting-edge technology or through intensive media campaigns in order to achieve compassion and an inter-dependent society.
