As part of the ‘Your Safety is Our Aim’ campaign, Abu Dhabi Ports recently hosted an open day to raise awareness about the need for all passengers, adults and children, to wear life jackets when on-board vessels docking at its ports.
Taking place at Delma Port and Mugharraq Port, the campaign was carried out in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Ports Marine Services, the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, and the Transport Police.
The programme looks to improve safety culture on all vessels. As part of the campaign, Abu Dhabi Ports will share safety knowledge with passengers, both regular and first-timer users, and conduct an interactive safety induction and practice session to explain the why, when, how and general importance of wearing a life jacket.
