GODIVA Chocolatier, the official chocolate supplier to the Royal Court of Belgium, is proud to unveil its eagerly anticipated new Abu Dhabi chocolate café and store, situated in the luxurious Qaryat Al Beri shopping mall.
An impressive space, the Qaryat Al Beri is a modern adaption of a traditional Arabian market. Punctuated by Venetian influences, meandering canals flow through the two-story ‘souk’, where weary shoppers can hail water taxis to ferry them between shops, stalls and restaurants.
Taking the Belgian chocolatier’s total to six locations in the UAE, GODIVA’s CEO, Mohamed Elsarky, explained: “This amazing new chocolate café will expose new and existing customers to a unique and memorable chocolate experience”.
Encapsulating all that makes GODIVA special, the elegant café design artfully interweaves both the historical and innovative facets of the brand. Art nouveau features allude to the brand’s Belgian heritage, while modern touches and the iconic GODIVA-Gold colour scheme; create a warm, welcoming ambience for customers to indulge in the ultimate chocolate experience.
The café serves up beautiful Belgian-made chocolate cakes, pastries and delicious hot and cold chocolate drinks as well as the brand’s glorious chocolate-dipped strawberries and luxurious ‘soft-serve’ ice cream. Also featuring a loose counter with delicious pralines, ganâches, caramels, marzipans, truffles and carrés; customers can also purchase GODIVA’s most iconic gift boxes.
