Abu Dhabi's Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) is launching a major promotions drive across its malls with twelve luxury Mercedes-Benz cars set to be given away in prize draws to lucky shoppers as part of this year's Abu Dhabi Summer Season.

Shoppers spending a total of AED200 at any of the 12 participating malls in the emirate will be eligible to take part in the promotion by exchanging their purchase receipts for a raffle coupon. A total of 12 consecutive weekly draws and announcing winners will be held in Al Ain Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, Bawadi Mall, City Mall, Dalma Mall, Deerfields, Marina Mall, Khalidiya Mall, Nations Galleria, The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, and World Trade Center beginning on June 20 and ending on September 5 with a new Mercedes-Benz car given away each draw.

The three-month long season of entertainment, promotions and offers is taking place across Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and Al Gharbia (Western Region) with a Mercedes-Benz car the star prize every Saturday evening.

Abu Dhabi Summer Season begins on Thursday, June 11 with four mall events beginning at 5pm, and repeated three times during the evening: A Brazilian Carnival Parade at Marina Mall, a Butterfly Parade at Deerfields, Breakdancers at Al Ain Mall and a Harlequin Parade at World Trade Center. The events will be rotated across other participating malls including Dalma Mall, Al Wahda Mall, The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, Nations Galleria and Bawadi Mall until Saturday, June 13.

Throughout the summer season, a range of attractions, shows and walkabouts will be hosted including a series of Ramadan-inspired events and activations, oud players and children's stage shows.

Promising Fun for All, the Summer Season will host more than 60 performances in venues and theatres across Abu Dhabi emirate arranged by some of the UAE's leading event companies.

The series of live shows begin on July 18 with an Eid celebration in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with Saudi singing sensation Mohammed Abdo and Emirati singer Habeeb ElYasi. Visitors and residents, both young and old, can also enjoy Sesame Street Live, Indian singing star Shreya Ghoshal, Hans Klok - the world's fastest illusionist, Mythbusters and Arabic and Western comedy nights, as well as a range of other leading shows for adults and children.
