Musabbah Mubarak Al Murar, Acting General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, has commended 57 distinguished employees from various sectors of the municipality in light of the employees’ performance assessment results for 2014.

This annual event, which was attended by executive directors, directors and managers of the municipality, is aimed at showing recognition and appreciation of employees in keeping with the municipality’s strategy to motivate innovative employees and enhance their performance towards meeting the aspirations of customers and the community at large.

Employees who had achieved "Excellent" rating were awarded the title 'Employee of the Year', which is one of the award categories of the employees’ recognition programme. Winners in the remaining categories are expected to be decorated throughout this and next year as part of a specific award-giving programme tailored towards encouraging the drive of excellence and higher performance levels, be it for employees or the organisation as a whole.

"Holding these annual gatherings is aimed at decorating distinguished employees and recognising their assiduous efforts to improve performance in a way that fulfills the strategy of the municipality in fostering excellent service concepts to keep abreast of the community’s expectations and contribute to raising the satisfaction rating of employees," said Al Murar.

"The municipality has made huge improvements in leveraging the performance of various municipal sectors, divisions and sections towards aligning them with the strategy, mission and values charted by the prudent government of Abu Dhabi with the aim of upgrading government performance level," he added.
