The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence General Directorate has discussed the best procedures to implement the Ministry of Interior’s methodologies, in accordance with the best applied scientific techniques. The discussions took place at a specialised workshop held recently in Abu Dhabi in cooperation with the Strategy and Performance Development General Directorate at the MoI.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Al Suraidi, Head of Quality Department at the Strategy and Performance Development General Directorate, reviewed the procedures to be followed by liaison officers at the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence with the taskforce, and the importance of working according to the methodology.
Lt. Colonel Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Ansari, Director-General of Civil Defence in Abu Dhabi, in his speech during the workshop, drew attention to the "Web Storm" programme, which was recently implemented in Abu Dhabi to measure response times, and some of the most important tasks which must be circulated to the staff of civil defence centres in Abu Dhabi.
He explained that the programme focuses on defining the measurement of response time, and its mechanism to achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior to reduce the current response time.
The workshop was attended by general directors of civil defence departments in Abu Dhabi, section chiefs, branch managers and a number of officers, non-commissioned officers and staff of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence General Directorate.
