Since this paper is delivered to the Raha Gardens community I was inspired to write about another pet issue: groups of housemaids congregating together, along the walkway, with packs of dogs along with children.
It should be a wonderful experience for all concerned but, instead, what you have are large dogs blocking the pathway, sometimes unrestrained, children on bikes forced to ride along the road instead, dog poop littering the path and much of it stepped on, while the walkers sit on the grass chatting on their phones or to each other.
Yesterday my husband reprimanded a housemaid whose charge, a baby, was crawling along the path in the way of cyclists while she texted on her phone and chatted to her friends. I salute dog owners who walk their own dogs responsibly and pick up after their pets. The others should have all that dog poop collected and dropped at their doorstep.
