H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Al Ain Football Club and its Honourary Board, on the coronation of Al Ain Football Club as the 2014–15 Arabian Gulf League champions, for the twelfth time in the history of the club.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed also congratulated H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Honourary President of the UAE Football Association and First Deputy Chairman of the Al Ain Football Club and its Honourary Board; and H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy National Security Advisor and Second Deputy Chairman of the Al Ain Football Club and its Honourary Board.
He stressed that the support and directives of the leadership of the club were instrumental in the club's stable performance and the well-deserved win.
Sheikh Nahyan also congratulated the board of directors of Al Ain Football Club and Al Ain Football Company led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, the technical and administrative staff and the players of the team on making the precious achievement and praised their continuous hard work for winning the championship and continuing the club's bright progress. He also congratulated the crowds which he said were ideal in their support for the team.
H.H. Sheikh Nahyan noted that the club's new achievement serve as proof to the professional administrative and techncial approach pursued by the team during local and overseas competitions as well as its active plans that enable it to make more achievements and advance the level of Emirati football and promote its continental and international stature.
