The first-ever edition of the Eco-Smart Home Show, an event dedicated to promoting energy conversation in Al Ain, will kick off tomorrow (6 May) at Al Ain Convention Centre (AACC).
The announcement was made at a press conference at the Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC) headquarters, which was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Salem Bin Omair Al Shamsi, Director General of AADC, the organizer and key sponsor of the event, and Jassim Al Ali, Conformity Engineer, Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA), the platinum sponsor.
Set to run until 9 May, the four-day event will draw the participation of prominent government and private organisations, as well as specialised local and international companies in the energy conservation sector to showcase their latest innovations and energy-saving solutions.
His Excellency Mohammed Salem Bin Omair Al Shamsi, Director General of AADC, said: “The launch of Al Ain’s inaugural Eco-Smart Home Show is the result of diligent efforts made by AADC’s various departments and divisions to leverage best practices and latest energy-efficient and eco-friendly technologies towards building a sustainable future for our emirate.
“In organising this event, we also seek to spread awareness about the importance of energy and water conservation and creating a better future for generations to come. This is perfectly in line with the objectives of Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, which aims to position the emirate as one of the most livable places in the world.”

Aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of using energy efficient household devices, Eco- Smart Home Show will showcase a wide range of products and educate visitors on lifestyle changes that can be implemented towards reducing utility bills and achieving long-term benefits from energy conservation and resource preservation.
