Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, decorated a number of officers with their new ranks. The ceremony was held at the Traffic and Patrols Directorate Theater, and attended by heads of departments and chiefs of sections at the different departments affiliated with the Central Operations Directorate.
Brigadier Eng. Al Harithi congratulated the officers, who were promoted by virtue of the ministerial resolution issued recently by Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in recognition of their efforts in fulfilling their job requirements according to the best standards.
Brigadier Eng. Al Harithi called upon the promoted officers to work with diligence and perseverance and said: “This honoring is a tribute to the sincere and unwavering efforts you made in discharging your duties in accordance with the best practices and standards.”
Adding further, he said: “The promotion represents an additional responsibility to the duties entrusted to you, but should serve as an incentive to exert further efforts to enhance performance to the highest levels.” He also urged the officers to remain worthy of trust, by maintaining loyalty to the beloved country.
Additionally, the Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police encouraged the promoted officers to continue to endeavor towards professional excellence and to achieve overall quality. He also called upon them to work together as one team and with high professionalism in order to achieve the vision of Abu Dhabi’s government of becoming one of the world’s top five performing governments, and the vision of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to ensure that the Emirate of Abu Dhabi remains a community enjoying security and safety, by providing high-quality police services to citizens and residents.
For their part, the promoted officers expressed their appreciation for the trust bestowed upon them by the police leadership; pledging to remain worthy of the confidence in the line of national duty, to enhance security and stability in the country. They said that this accolade represents an incentive for them and their colleagues to exert additional efforts in order to achieve the coveted and distinguished goals, and to deliver individual and team contributions to boost performance.
