Partnering with parents has always been at the forefront of bridging the gap between the education provided at schools and the continuum at home; we are certain that Peter's expertise will help define cutting-edge 21st century practices that will help enhance the quality of education and support we provide to our students."
Speaking of his appointment as Director of Education, Peter commented, "Abu Dhabi has been experiencing tremendous advancement in the educational sector and is rapidly adopting world-class standards. It is a privilege to be a part of an organization like Aldar Academies, which continues to play a pivotal role in contributing to the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030. I am delighted to be working with such an experienced and passionate team, and relish the prospect of taking the all-round development of Aldar Academies' students to a new level of excellence."
As Director of Education, Mr. Carpenter will oversee the work across the Academies' schools, and support their Principals and staff to ensure uniformity and augment stringent quality assurance measures. One of his primary responsibilities will also be to improve parent partnership and active engagement, by establishing and leading an Academies-wide parent focus group forum comprising parent representatives from each of the Aldar schools. Mr. Carpenter will be working with the Executive Management Team to develop strategic plans based on the outcome of these focus groups and parent feedback surveys.
The appointment of Mr. Carpenter forms an important part of Aldar Academies' continuous efforts to fortify their high standard of education and student support.
