In a specialized workshop, the Ministry of Interior discussed its strategic policies. In his opening speech at the Westin Abu Dhabi Hotel, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, stressed on the importance of the consultation stage in the policy formulation process. This stage plays a substantial role in the organization of police work; in laying the foundations and appropriate approaches suitable for improving performances and operations; and in pursuing distinguished excellence through the provision of high quality services and the reduction of disparities in the process of its implementation.
“The Government of the UAE consistently endeavors to enhance the quality of life for the UAE society through effective communication, fairness, and transparency by providing distinguished police services for citizens, residents, and visitors alike,” he said.
For his part, Captain Saeed Al Shamesi, Chief of the Policies Section at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior, delivered a presentation on the Ministry’s policy development and formulation mechanism.
This workshop, which is organized by the Policies Section at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior, falls within the framework of achieving the vision of the MoI to lead the UAE as a safe and stable society.
