The week-long Anantara Gourmet 2015 food festival will come to a close with an extravagant Gala Masquerade Ball which will be hosted at the luxurious Royal Pavilion Villas by Qasr Al Sarab on Thursday 16th April, 2015. Benefitting Make-A-Wish UAE, this charity event highlighted on the UAE social calendar includes a culinary presentation by Michelin starred chefs, live entertainment and a fundraising auction.
The expected 120 attendees will relish a five course dinner with paired cellared beverages. The menu has been especially crafted for the occasion by a host of international guest Chefs including Henrik Yde-Andersen for the cold starter, Anantara’s own Chef Aztaj Eddoukani for the hot appetizer and Chef Yves Lafond for the palate cleanser, Italian Chef Igor Macchia for the seafood course and Australian Chef Mike Tafe for the meat course. Chef ‘Sugar Hari’ Unterrainer also hailing from downunder, has something decadent planned for dessert and petit fours to follow.
In addition to a global culinary voyage, the evening promises many surprises, including a Laurent Perrier reception, exciting auction items including a 3 day test drive of the latest Maserati teamed with a weekend stay at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, an original artwork by Des Spencer and for guests who like relaxation, they shouldn’t miss ‘A Year of Monthly Massages from Anantara Spa’ at Eastern Mangroves as a favourite.
