Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, awarded appreciation decorations and medals to a number of distinguished officers at the directorate, who obtained academic certificates in various scientific disciplines.
Major General Badran stressed that such a tribute not only recognizes the officers’ excellent results and achievements attained in their studies; it also comes in line with the goal of implementing institutional excellence standards, and achieving the strategic objectives envisioned by the Ministry of Interior. “Knowledge and creativity positively reflect on staff members’ performance, which, in turn, contributes to developing the work system and enhancing performance indicators,” he noted.
Adding further, Major General Badran said that honoring competencies and creative employees in the various areas of police work aims at encouraging police staff members to pursue further academic attainment and enhance their performance levels. “This accolade helps to promote the culture of excellence and high-level professional performance among police staff members, in a bid to motivate others to follow in their footsteps, develop their personal skills and seek highest academic ranks,” he continued.
The honored officers pledged to exert additional efforts to develop work processes, and to pursue further academic attainment. They also emphasized their commitment to avail of the theoretical applications they have acquired in the course of their studies to achieve the goals of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ).
