Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award work team has finished receiving the candidacy applications for the final phase of the award. The Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award represents the various general headquarters of the police and sectors at the Ministry of Interior in a bid to achieve the objectives of the award.

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, stressed the keenness to follow-up with the motivation of all the ministry’s sectors in their participation of the award. He pointed out the importance of justly evaluating each applicant participating in the Ministry of Interior’s Excellence Award, so as to motivate all police general headquarters and MoI sectors, departments, work teams, members and individuals.

During his visit to the committee in the Federal Police School in Sharjah, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior inspected the workflow and procedures used when receiving the applications to participate in the Ministry of Interior’s award. He praised the efforts of the award’s work team and for their timely delivery.

It is worth mentioning that this step comes in line with the preparation for the evaluation and arbitration phase for the applicants participating in the award, which is in effect from 1 April through 10 March. The phase includes field visits and personal interviews for participants to determine the winners of the award.
