Eastern Motors, Al Ain dealership of Jeep (Fiat Chrysler Association - FCA) and automotive member of Al Fahim Group, has once again engaged with Jeep owners in the Al Ain community by organizing the annual family FUNatic event, for the second consecutive year, at Rotana Desert Camp.
Starting with a healthy breakfast at Eastern Motors’ showroom in Sanayia District, 261 participants totaling an impressive 93–car convoy, Jeep owners from Al Ain were divided into four categories: Beginners under the names Fun Drive Grand Cherokee and Fun Drive Wranglers, Intermediate Off-road Drivers and Advanced Off-road Drivers.
At the event, Mr. Nassim Mourani, General Manager of Eastern Motors, said, “Based on our successful family day last year, we are delighted to hold the entertaining and highly engaging FUNatic again with our customers. The fun-filled event included a three-hour off-road trip - lead by professional Marshals from Desert Diva – Marina Bruce leading marshal, lunch at Rotana Desert Camp, games and live entertainment.
"This thrilling experience enabled our customers to purify their minds by moving away from their daily, noisy city life, to an adventurous escape in the tranquil dunes of Al Ain desert.”
After a remarkable morning in the sand dunes of the oasis, participants were invited for lunch at Rotana Desert Camp, one of the event sponsors, where there were many activities for adults and kids. Other sponsors of this year’s FUNatic included: AL Jimi Mall, AL Noor Hospital, Mobil, Michelin, Mopar, Al Ain Rotana, IATC (int. Automobile Touring Club), Desert Diva, Grafite, and Salama.
To finish off the fascinating day-out, raffle prizes were handed out to winners and included vouchers from Wadi Adventure and Rotana (dining and spa).
