Guests will celebrate Thai New Year Songkran in Dusit style with a Splash Pool Party evolving from the traditional festival in Thailand where everyone splashes each other with water on the streets. For Thai food aficionados, Benjarong, the iconic signature Thai restaurant at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi has got it covered!

Songkran Splash Pool Party

On Thursday 9 April 2015, Songkran will be celebrated with a cool pool party on the 23rdfloor of the Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi. From 5pm onwards, Breeze, the rooftop pool, will be serving outdoor Thai inspired street food with live DJ, Thai entertainment, pool access, water games accessories, raffle draws and shisha.

The Songkran Splash Pool Party is priced at AED 145 per person including soft beverages and AED 250 per person inclusive of unlimited house beverages.

Songkran Flavours at Benjarong

Extremely passionate and proud of his Thai roots, Benjarong’s Chef Yongyos Chimthep will make you discover authentic specialties in celebration of Thai New Year, Songkran. During the month of April, guests can indulge in a four-course set menu featuring Nua Yang Thai Derm (grilled marinade of beef with cucumber and chili powder dressing), Tom Kha Pla Salmon soup (coconut cream soup with salmon filet, mushroom and herbs) and Gaeng Hang Ley Gai (northern curry with chicken thigh and ginger) with steamed jasmine rice as a main course. Should appetites still not be sated, guests with a sweet tooth can enjoy Khao Niew Mamuang (sticky rice with mango) for dessert.

The Songkran special menu is priced at AED 195 per person excluding beverages, available from 1-30 April 2015 during dinner between 7-11 pm.
