The Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior hosted a ceremony to honor partners and distinguished employees at the Department, in addition to members of the Media and Public Relations Coordination Committee. The ceremony was held along the sidelines of the Second Family Forum for Public Relations at the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The recognition falls in line with the community-based initiatives organized by the Public Relations Department. These initiatives aim at achieving efficient communication and interaction with the department’s strategic partners, and with staff members of the Public Relation Departments and Sections at the police general headquarters across the UAE.

The Forum was attended by Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department. Also attending were media and public relations department heads and chiefs of sections, along with a number of officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel from the Public Relations Department, as well as partners from the various departments at the Ministry of Interior.

In his speech, Colonel Al Awadhi said: “The forum is vitally important to help achieving interaction and harmony among PR staff members who represent one big family, and in encouraging them to work as one team to enhance performance levels and reflect a bright image of the MoI.”

Adding further, he said:  “The Second Family Forum aims at expressing thanks and appreciation for all those who contributed to ensuring the success of the MoI’s activities, including partners, members of the coordination committee, as well as distinguished chiefs of sections and staff members, and recognizes their efforts in carrying out their duties.” In conclusion, he called upon staff members to exert additional efforts in order to upgrade work to the highest standards; wishing everyone the best of luck and success. 

Towards the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Awadhi honored partners, members of the coordination committee, chief of sections, and branch managers; in addition to all of the distinguished staff members at these entities, and at the Public Relations Department.
