Abu Dhabi Golf Club is getting ready to welcome hundreds of music lovers through its door later this month as five of the greatest tribute acts fly in for one off gig.

R Kelly, Cher, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie and Madonna tribute acts will celebrate some of the best-known songs of the past 30 years in an event dubbed as ‘The Concert That Never Happened’.

‘Dancing on the Ceiling’ by Lionel Richie, ‘The World’s Greatest’ by R Kelly, ‘Believe’ by Cher, ‘Simply The Best’ by Tina Turner and ‘Into The Groove’ by Madonna are just some of the classics crowds will be able to sing along to.

The acts, flown in by Etihad Airways especially for the concert, will entertain guests at the Troon-managed club for over three hours.

Paul Booth, Director of Club Operations at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, is extremely excited to welcome guests to the event. He commented: “The Concert That Never Happened will be a great opportunity for those of all ages who enjoy great music to come together and have a wonderful evening.

“The acts we have lined up are five tributes to five of the most famous artists of the past three decades. There is something for everyone in the line up and I am sure it will be well supported by our members and guests.
