Day four of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX) and Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX), drew to a close today with the daily press briefing from Staff Major General Obaid Al Ketbi, Chairman of the IDEX 2015 Higher Committee.
The UAE Armed Forces signed a contract with the Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center (AMMROC), an Abu Dhabi-based company, has been selected to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the Joint Aviation Command (JAC) of the UAE Armed Forces. The deal is valued at AED 2.3 billion.
The UAE Armed Forces signed a deal with Abu Dhabi Autonomous Systems Investments Company (ADASI) to provide spare parts for unmanned vehicles. The deal is worth AED 24 million.
The UAE Armed Forces signed a deal with Thales Advanced Solutions to purchase spare parts signalling devices, their peripherals and providing maintenance support. The deal is valued at AED 18 million.
The UAE Armed Forces is currently finalizing a deal with ATK, an American company, to purchase and install the Hostile Fire Induction aircraft military systems. The deal is in the final stages, valued at AED 192 million.
The total deals of the day: AED 2.534 billion.
