Abu Dhabi Police Rank First In Attracting Emirati Job Seekers
(6 February 2015)

The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters ranked first in attracting Emirati job seekers looking for distinguished career opportunities at “Tawdheef 2015” job fair. According to Brigadier Obeid Belhubalah Al Ketbi, Head of the Selection and Recruitment Department, the Abu Dhabi Police committee collected hundreds of resumes and applications at dedicated booths in the pavilion.

Brigadier Al Ketbi hailed the efforts of the organizers for recognizing the efforts of the various government institutions and bodies and private sector companies participating at the fair, which recently came to a successful conclusion at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Center (ADNEC).

He said: “The Abu Dhabi Police is adamantly committed to supporting the Emiratisation drive as a top priority, by providing distinguished and rewarding career opportunities to both Emirati male and female job seekers.” He added that job fairs allow young Emiratis to make best use of their skills and qualifications to serve their country.

The Selection and Recruitment Department’s work team was on hand during the fair to acquaint job applicants with the available vacancies and guided them through the electronic application process, at dedicated computers available at the Abu Dhabi Police pavilion.  A specialized committee also conducted face-to-face on-site interviews with Emirati men and women looking for exciting job offers.

The Security Support and Ports and Airports Security Police Departments took part in the fair and gave job applicants an overview of the work duties at Abu Dhabi Police.

It is worth mentioning that the Abu Dhabi Police pavilion at the recent ninth edition of Tawdheef, Abu Dhabi’s job fair for UAE nationals, witnessed a significant turnout of Emirati job seekers, who were acquainted with the available career opportunities within the police institution. Dog shows by the Security Inspection Department (K9) were also presented at the pavilion; while the Security Media Department showcased its famous “Falcon Bike”, which received admiration from a wide spectrum of spectators.
