In a ceremony held at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs in Abu Dhabi, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, adorned a large number of officers working at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector with their new ranks. The officers were promoted by virtue of the Federal decree No. (7) of 2015 that His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has recently issued.
Major General Al Khaili extended his congratulations to the promoted officers and said: “This generous gift represents a turning point towards excellence and is an incentive to work even harder to gain new achievements. Such efforts will enhance the security and stability of our country, protect our national achievements, and optimize the policing system which embodies the overall strategic development plan of the Ministry of Interior, particularly in regards to the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs sector.”
Major General Al Khaili urged the officers to “exert further efforts in order to improve the work and to contribute more in order to preserve the blessings of security and safety within our homeland by protecting this country’s achievements - which were made possible thanks to the higher leadership.” He additionally wished the officers continued success in their future endeavors.
Attending at the ceremony were Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashedi, Head of the Naturalization Department; Colonel Taleb Abdul Kareem Al Mahmoud, Chief of Media and Public Relations Section; and a number of other officers from the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs.
