It is worth mentioning that health tips and medical check-ups were provided on the sidelines of the championship by a medical team from the Medical Services Department at Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to distribution of health-related leaflets to both competitors and members of the public.

The Director General of Central Operations commended the high level organization of the Championship and the distinguished services provided to participants. Moreover, he hailed the efforts of the organizers who dedicate significant attention to sporting events that serve community members. Adding further, Major General Al Raisi emphasized the importance of physical activity, which contributes to developing the athletic abilities of police officers, and has positive effects on their intellectual and mental health, thus boosting the levels of job performance. “Sports activities also enhance competitiveness within an atmosphere of sportsmanship and brotherly ties,” he said.

For his part, Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General at the Ministry of Interior, underlined that these sporting events are part of the sports activities program for Abu Dhabi Police’s staff members, targeting all age groups. “Sporting events provide the opportunity to exercise, improve fitness levels and maintain physical and general health,” he noted. In conclusion, Colonel Al Dhaheri praised the efforts of the contestants, as well the participation of the Medical Services Department of Abu Dhabi Police that provided medical check-ups and advice for both participants and members of the public.
