To mark a thrilling start to the year 2015, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is inviting guests to unleash their winning spirits and break the lap record set by the Scuderia Ferrari Drivers at their latest attraction, Karting Academy to win a trip to visit Ferrari's factory in its homeland Maranello, Italy.

The attraction offers electric powered go-karts which allows guests to race along a 290 meter indoor track with a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The innovative go-karts include roll-bar safety features and 3 point system safety belts to meet the highest safety standards.

Upon completing registration to the attraction, racers will enjoy their moment of glory with their lap time displayed on the digital live timing leaderboard in the theme park and on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Victoria Lynn, Park Manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi said; "Karting Academy is the first of many new and exciting attractions that will be unveiled throughout the year at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. We have created an exclusive challenge that's running until 09 February to motivate karting enthusiasts to test their exceptional skills to see where they stand against our Scuderia Ferrari Drivers."

To guarantee a position on the starting grid, karting enthusiasts between 1.5 and 2.10 meters of height can head to Karting Academy on arrival at the theme park to book their ticket as the attraction runs on a timed-ticket reservation system.

As a gesture of appreciation to community members for being an integral part of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's success, residents can benefit from the resident offer that is currently being offered. UAE residents can avail preferred rates on general admission tickets as low as AED 195 upon presenting a valid Emirates ID to the ticketing counter at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
