The Ministry of Interior will be organizing its fourth awareness council tomorrow, Friday in Bakhit Suwaidan Al Nuaimi’s majlis at his residence located in the Hili District, in Al Ain. The council, held under the title “the Culture of Civilized Driving”, will be moderated by media figure Rashid Al Kharji, from Dubai Media Incorporated.
The Council will address the means of promoting civilized driving behavior, as well as the main causes of traffic accidents and their costly impacts on the family and society. It will also tackle the optimal ways to reduce traffic accidents, enhance the culture of civilized traffic safety, as well as the proper road use in order to preserve lives and property.
It is worth mentioning that the MoI, represented by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, had launched its first awareness council for 2015 on January 12, in cooperation with the Security Media Department. The councils are to be held throughout the year across Abu Dhabi and they discuss a variety of social issues of national, service, and police specificity.
