On Thursday, Brigadier Mansour Ahmed Ali Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Ministry’s Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, honored the participants and winners of the second phase of the Minister of Interior’s Excellence Award’s third edition “Commander Category” at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The ceremony was held in the auditorium at the Ministry’s headquarters.

Brigadier Al Dhaheri admired the support given by the leadership for the march towards excellence that the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has achieved on various levels. “Excellence has become an integral element of our culture and is now a way of life for our members,” Brigadier Al Dhaheri said. “This culture aims to enhance levels of performance,to provide distinguished services for the public, and to foster the stability and security in the UAE. It is essential to provide excellent services, especially in today’s day and age where a safe and secure world is a necessity for everyone in the UAE to lead a peaceful life.”

Brigadier Al Dhaheri praised the winners, participants, judges, and coordinators for their efforts in enhancing participation at the competitions. “The Ministry has worked towards implementing excellent service standards and performance in the delivery and conduct of operations in order to contribute to achieving its strategic goals,” he said.

Brigadier Al Dhaheri noted that honoring the winners embodies the strategy of the MoI in encouraging distinguished employees and alsoprovides an incentive for MoI members to carry out their duties to the best of their ability. “The leadership is keen to support our members who are creative and innovative- for they play an essential role in promoting our steps towards safety and security and in sustaining the unique position that the UAE has achieved,” he said.

He stressed his pride in the national competencies, for their significant achievements in various fields and for their commitment to maintaining the national gains. He congratulated the winners and wished that the honoring will inspire others to show excellence in their work.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Brigadier Al Dhaheri, accompanied by Major Dr. Ali Al Ghafli, Head of the Organizational Excellence Department at the Ministry of Interior, presented the certificates and shields to the winners, participants, judges, and coordinators.
