During a ceremony recently organized by the Public Relations Department, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior honored the partners and supporters of the Ministry of Interior’s activities and events.
 
The ceremony, which was held at the ministry’s headquarters, was attended by Brigadier Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Head of the Procurement and Warehouses Department at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Head of the Training Department at the Police College; Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior; along with heads of departments and a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior.
 
In a speech delivered on the occasion, Lt. General Al Sha’far stressed that the Ministry of Interior is exerting significant efforts to maintain the state of security and safety enjoyed by the UAE. “Security and safety are a blessing that we all need to endeavor in order to preserve. This requires preparedness and teamwork and these are the exact features demonstrated by the ministry,” he said.
 
Adding further, Lt. General Al Sha’far noted that this accolade is in pursuance of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to honor all of the distinguished entities that have contributed efforts to organize and ensure the success of the ministry’s events. “This honoring will serve as a motivation and incentive to encourage staff members to carry out their duties and tasks to the fullest,” he noted.

On the same note, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior emphasized that upgrading work methods and making achievements according to institutional excellence standards contribute to developing police work. “This requires exerting additional efforts and diligent commitment to carry out work duties according to the best standards of excellence,” he continued.  Furthermore, he noted that the countless goals and strategic initiatives established by the Ministry of Interior are the key to enhance its developmental progress.

Towards the end of the ceremony, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior handed over the certificates and commemorative gifts to the honorees. In return, Lt. General Al Sha’far received commemorative gifts from Brigadier Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Head of the Procurement and Warehouses Department and from Colonel Hussein Mahmoud Al Awadhi, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior.
