Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, met on Wednesday, in his office at the ministry, with Major General Khawar Hanif, Director General of the Anti -Narcotics Force (ANF) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the accompanying delegation.
A number of topics of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting, as well as the means to boost cooperation between both countries for the sake of coordinating the fight against drugs.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Saeed Al Suwaidi, Director General, Anti-Narcotics Federal Directorate General; Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Mazroui, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Interior; and a number of officers.
Also present at the meeting, on behalf of Pakistan, were Lieutenant Colonel Qasim Paracha, Director of Special Interrogation Unit and Assad Aman, Assistant Director, International Cooperation Bureau, Pakistan.
