The Zayed Future Energy Prize will host a program of events focused on industry and student engagement at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) from January 19-22. The four-day schedule - during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) - will highlight areas of innovation where both industry and young individuals can have a positive impact on the world through renewable energy and sustainability.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week will commence on January 19, with a special opening ceremony featuring the Zayed Future Energy Prize Awards Ceremony. The preeminent award for renewable energy and sustainability will award up to nine winners across five categories a share of the US$4 million prize.

The purpose of the campaign is to encourage the public to think about changing their daily habits and start saving energy and water at home, school, and work. The campaign focuses on turning off appliances and electronic devices, taking small steps to effect big change.
The 2016 Zayed Future Energy Prize, and eighth annual edition, will open for submissions and nominations on Tuesday, 20 January 2015. Visitors to the exhibition at ADNEC can submit on-site at the Prize stand. Organisations, individuals and schools may also submit on-line at www.ZayedFutureEnergyPrize.com.
