Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Offers More Effective Networking Opportunities
(12 January 2015)

Buyers and exhibitors attending next week’s Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) will be able to take advantage of a tailored networking platform designed to maximize their business opportunities. Covering ADSW’s three main events – the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), the International Water Summit (IWS) and EcoWaste – the Sustainability Business Connect program will enable participants to fast track their access to the senior industry leaders in attendance.

Taking place from January 17-24, ADSW is expected to attract more than 32,000 attendees from 170 countries. Hosted by Masdar, the week’s events address the interconnected challenges of energy and water security, climate risk and sustainable development.

“Sustainability Business Connect is an amazing opportunity for buyers and exhibitors alike,” said Naji El Haddad, group event director of Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of the events. “The platform is very straightforward to use and specifically designed to make sure that each participant gets the most out of the ADSW’s conferences and exhibitions. By presenting the latest innovations, WFES, IWS and EcoWaste serve as platforms for the creation and nurturing of viable business partnerships to develop the latest sustainability technology. With this in mind, ensuring that we create the right business contacts and opportunities is paramount to the success of these events.”

Sustainability Business Connect is a personalized digital platform to bring together key players, allow buyers to match their specific requirements with exhibitor products and services, and arrange business meetings by providing exhibitors with direct access to a targeted set of companies. The program allows attendees to connect with senior industry decision makers and suppliers worldwide prior to, and during, ADSW. Each buyer has a customized view created specifically to satisfy his or her business needs.

Leading public utilities and companies in the energy, water management and waste management industries are fielding a strong line-up of senior executives at this year’s ADSW. Potential buyers will include senior representatives from Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd., Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, Dubai Municipality, Saudi Arabian Oil Company , Holy Makkah Municipality, Egyptian Electricity Company, and the Bahrain Petroleum Company, among others.

In addition to WFES, IWS and EcoWaste, ADSW features the seventh Zayed Future Energy Prize Award Ceremony and also coincides with the Fifth General Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency.
