Abu Dhabi is to host the global endocrinology conference, ESE Clinical Update, ECU, for the third time on January 16th and 17th, which will feature some of the world's foremost endocrinologists and diabetes specialists.
Leading endocrinologists, Professors Massimo Terzolo and Karim Meeran, will join a group of international experts as the European Society of Endocrinology, ESE, and Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, ICLDC, jointly host ECU 2015.
Karim Meeran, Professor of Endocrinology, Imperial College London Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of ICLDC's Medical Board, said the conference provides participants with the opportunity to understand the latest developments on a wide range of endocrine conditions, including diagnosis and treatment advancements.
"ECU 2015 delivers the most up-to-date thinking on a wide range of endocrine diseases. Participants will gain insight into the latest diagnosis and treatments available to support their daily practice," he said.
Professor Meeran added that programme has been designed to maximise interaction between trainees and experienced endocrinologists, with numerous workshops to facilitate discussion.
At least 120 medical specialists from three continents are expected to participate at the two-day conference, which will discuss a range of endocrine conditions including bone disease and thyroid disorders. Experts registered to attend the 2015 event include ESE President Professor Philippe Bouchard and other leading experts in the field such as Professor Peter Trainer from the UK, Professor Lars Rejnmark from Denmark, Professor Donal O'Shea from Ireland and Professor Jens Bollerslev from Norway.
