The Social Solidarity Fund for Employees of the Ministry of Interior entered into agreement with the Al Hilal Takaful Insurance Company to provide insurance coverage for employees and police leadership of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) for damages resulting from personal accidents.
Brigadier Salem Al Shamesi, Director General of the Social Solidarity Fund for Employees, pointed out that the perks of the insurance cover both military personnel and civilians. “The insurance coverage aims to strengthen job security, stability, and to provide motivation to enhance their performance levels and create a tangible sense of the great attention accorded to this segment by the police leadership. The police leadership are always striving to create the most appropriate conditions and atmosphere for every staff member,” he said.
Brigadier Al Shamesi indicated that the first batch of compensation checks was delivered to the heirs of eight beneficiaries. “This gesture represents a humanitarian initiative by the Fund to provide aid and assistance to their families. It also aims to compensate them for the damages caused by personal accidents - whether inside or outside of work - which may result in death or permanent, total, or partial disability,” he said.
Adding further, he stressed that this initiative is one-of-a-kind and embodies the keenness of the Fund’s management to provide the best insurance services for all MoI personnel. “The initiative reflects the continuous support offered by the Fund to the community of the MoI, and is done so in a bid to maintain the stability of the employees and to instill a sense of security that will further motivate them to exert further benevolence and progress,” Brigadier Al Shamesi said.
The heirs of the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt thanks and gratitude towards the police leadership for their ongoing efforts and support in achieving the prosperity and stability of MoI personnel and for their parents alike.
