Al Ain Mineral Water Company, the fully owned and operated entity of the Agthia Group PJSC, will be the title sponsor for H.H The President’s Polo Cup 2009 to be held from February 21-27 2009. The event, which takes place under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, is considered to be one of the prime polo events of the Ghantoot polo season.

The cup commenced in the year 2000 and due to its enormous success in the recent years, is classified as one of the most important sports championships of the year. This year, three teams will compete for the prestigious cup; the Ghantoot Polo Team, the Al Ain Mineral Water Polo Team, and the Emirates Polo Team.

Mr. Fasahat Beg, General Manager, Al Ain Mineral Water Company said, “Al Ain Mineral Water Company is proud to be the title sponsor of the prestigious H.H The President’s Polo Cup 2009 for the second consecutive year. We are also one of the participating teams at the event. We look at encouraging polo and other local sports in the United Arab Emirates, to help develop and inculcate the same in the youth of the UAE.”
