To mark the end of a successful year, Yas Mall invited 27 orphaned children from the Emirates Red Crescent to enjoy a Fun Day Out filled with joyful and memorable experiences. This event builds on three already successful trips to Yas Mall this month by more than 50 children with autism from the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care.
Talal Dhiyebi, Executive Director of Asset Management at ALDAR Properties PJSC, commented: We are proud to partner with the Emirates Red Crescent and the Zayed Higher Oranization for Humanitarian care, both highly respectable foundations well known for their humanitarian work and dedication to society. We have started our CSR program less than one month from launch, as giving back to the community remains one of our top priorities as a company. Yas Mall plans for a continued emphasis on CSR activities in the coming year, with a special focus on  initiatives involving children and families.
As part of the daytrip, Yas Mall partnered with some of the venues most popular and prestigious regional and international brands including Fun Works, Vox Cinemas, Giraffe Restaurant, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Hamleys, Candylicious and The Toy Store to treat the children to a variety of exciting activities.
The fun-filled day at Yas Mall kicked off with a one hour play session at the largest Fun Works in the region, during which the children enjoyed exhilarating attractions, adventure rides and video games. After a lunch break at Abu Dhabis first branch of the irresistible Giraffe Restaurant located near Town Square, the children were invited to a viewing of Penguins of Madagascar in VOX Cinema's unique kids cinema, one of 20 screens available at Yas Mall.
During the last stop of their exciting journey, the children attended a magical Build a Bear workshop to create their very own stuffed animal, before receiving goody bags from Candylicious, one of the region's leading candy stores, as well as The Toy Store , one of the GCCs most popular childrens store, and Hamleys, which spans two floors at Yas Mall and is set to open in January 2015.
Yas Mall marked the winter season in December with a variety of entertaining activities for families and children. Shoppers were invited to enjoy the Wish House, where they record wishes for items from select stores for a chance to have their wish come true. Visitors could also practice their skating skills at Yas Malls ice rink, and enjoy a variety of other exciting winter themed sights and activities.
To celebrate these special moments shared with family and friends at Yas Mall, a new interactive online campaign has been launched, #ExperienceYasMall, where users can register to <http://experience.yasmall.ae/>http://experience.yasmall.ae/, and creative images for another chance to win fantastic weekly and monthly prizes. Yas Mall has already attracted a loyal social media following , boasting a combined total of more than 125,000 fans on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
