Al Fahim Group held their annual heartwarming Long Service Awards ceremony recognizing employees across the organization for reaching long-standing distinguished tenures in the family business. This year, Al Fahim Group’s Annual Long Service Awards has recognized 163 loyal employees.
Taking place at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel, His Excellency Abdulla Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of Al Fahim Supervisory Board, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of Al Fahim Management Board, and Al Fahim Management Board Members, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al Fahim and Mr. Khaled Abdul Karim Al Fahim, presented employees with valuable gifts along with appreciation certificates.
“The Al Fahim Annual Long Service Awards was started in the early 80s by my father, the late Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, mercy upon him, as he genuinely believed each and every employee played an important role in the growth and success of the family business,” commented Mr. Ahmed A. J. Al Fahim. “We have over 1200 staff members, and many of them have been a part of our family for decades – 36 employees this year were recognized for exceeding 20 years. We are particularly pleased this year as we are honoring Mr. Moeen Khan who has been with us for 40 years!”
At the ceremony, Mr. Moeen expressed his gratitude saying, “These last 40 years Al Fahim Group and Emirates Motor Company have made me feel as though I was a part of the family. I want to take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to thank the owners and management for everything, and wish them the best of luck.”
The largest number of long serving employees came from Al Fahim Group’s flagship company, Emirates Motor Company, followed by Eastern Motors. Other members of the group present this year were Central Motors & Equipment, Emirates Dalma Food Catering, EPICO, Marjan Industrial Development, Safar Travel & Tourism and Western Motors.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Al Fahim added, “Al Fahim Group lives by the motto that recruiting the right professionals, developing and retaining talent form the key ingredient of long term sustainability of Al Fahim Group.”
